Health and safety at work
The objective of occupational health and safety is to protect all those present at the school and to avoid any physical or moral harm or illness that may result from one’s activity. You need to take care of your own safety (and health) and that of others.
The organization of health and safety is based on 2 bodies:
-
CHSCT : Health, Safety and Working Conditions Committee
This is a school body which contributes to the protection of physical and mental health and to safety by improving working conditions while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
-
ColHySé : Health and Safety College
This is an internal consultation and discussion body which manages the approach to health and safety at work by coordinating communication between the CP and the PAs of each entity.
And an organization of people:
- CP: Prevention Advisor : assists and advises the general management of the School in the risk assessment process and in the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety policy as well as the application of safety rules;
- AP: Prevention Assistant: your immediate contact in terms of prevention. This person assists and advises the entity director in the risk assessment process and in the implementation of the school’s Health and Safety at Work policy;
- PCR: Competent Person in Radiation Protection : participates in the delimitation of the supervised or controlled areas and in the definition of the particular rules which apply to them;
- OHS: Rescuer/ First Aid Worker : person within each unit who is qualified to provide first aid to any victim of an accident on the premises of the School;
- MP: Preventive Physician : advises on living and working conditions, oversees the general hygiene of the premises and the protection of staff against all nuisances or harm and the risk of work accidents or occupational illness, while providing information on health and the adaptation of workstations, working practices and cadences;
